Host Country Information

This section provides information on potential CDM/JI host countries, with brief country profiles, relevant agreements and decisions, and helpful links. It starts out with the countries with which Germany has already signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) or a similar type of cooperation agreement. The list will be updated on a regular basis.

Follow the CDM/JI Initiative link for information about the other countries it covers. The Latin America Platform link takes you to the German Environment Ministry’s CDM cooperation website, which promotes CDM projects in Latin America. The Project Coordination Office at the German Energy Agency (dena) has a dedicated website (in German only) which is designed to promote carbon projects in Eastern, Central and South-Eastern Europe.
